Description
Would you like to lead our Stock Room and Shipping/Receiving departments?
Basic Duties
- Manage and train Logistics/Inventory Control employees and processes
- Analyze inventory strategy and implement solutions
- Provide analytical support for problem solving and continuous improvement
- Drive Continuous Improvement processes designed to improve quality, reduce cost, and reduce cycle times
- Analyze, track, monitor, and report inventory and cycle count information
- Select, develop, and manage Inventory Control system and employee metrics
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of material to production
- Manage inventory levels to established targets; monitor and report performance
- Manage slow moving inventory reduction initiatives
- Maintain a daily interface with all departments for related problem solving
- Assist and initiate action when necessary to ensure accuracy of system data
- Maintain Inventory Control policies and procedures and ensure compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of experience in inventory control, using computerized inventory control systems
- Previous leadership experience or a desire to enter a supervisory position
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF formulas and macros)
- Greenbelt or Blackbelt in Lean Six Sigma preferred
Salary:
- $7600 monthly salary

4/10 Work Schedule – 40 hour week. Overtime as needed.
