Description

Would you like to lead our Stock Room and Shipping/Receiving departments?

Basic Duties

  • Manage and train Logistics/Inventory Control employees and processes
  • Analyze inventory strategy and implement solutions
  • Provide analytical support for problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Drive Continuous Improvement processes designed to improve quality, reduce cost, and reduce cycle times
  • Analyze, track, monitor, and report  inventory and cycle count information
  • Select, develop, and manage Inventory Control system and employee metrics
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of material to production
  • Manage inventory levels to established targets; monitor and report performance
  • Manage slow moving inventory reduction initiatives
  • Maintain a daily interface with all departments for related problem solving
  • Assist and initiate action when necessary to ensure accuracy of system data
  • Maintain Inventory Control policies and procedures and ensure compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory control, using computerized inventory control systems
  • Previous leadership experience or a desire to enter a supervisory position
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF formulas and macros)
  • Greenbelt or Blackbelt in Lean Six Sigma preferred

Salary:

  • $7600 monthly salary

4/10 Work Schedule – 40 hour week. Overtime as needed.
